Who is the Christian? 4

The Christian is born again. And this isn’t a denominational cliché thrown around in certain Protestant circles. Being born again might be better understood from the idea of actually being born.

When a person is born into this world, he or she is born a baby with every faculty that makes it as human as the most competent human being on earth.

When the same person gets born again, on the other hand, he or she is born a spiritual baby with every potential that makes it as divine as God is. The life of God supplants the human life in a person as soon as that person endorses through heartfelt words the Lordship and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Here is where most people (including many Christians) miss the essence of being born again. Just as a baby must learn to move its neck, sit, crawl, walk and then talk, a spiritual baby must learn how to righteously speak things into being for that’s how God functions.

Until the Christian learns how to speak the way God the Father speaks, he or she is incompetent to live the born-again life.
