The ultimate indicator of the state of any human relationship is touch.
It’s why people shake hands, hug, cuddle and give pats on the back. It’s also why people land blows on and strangle others.
What should be worrisome in any relationship is the absence of touch because in any relationship, the absence of touch, is the first sign of its demise.
