Who is the Christian? 9

You can’t be a Christian and be afflicted by a witch, a sickness, or some difficulty without your voluntary ignorance about who the Christian is.

The premise of who the Christian is hinges on the claim that he or she is an offspring of God—with the same nature. Now, if you share the same nature with God, how can a witch or sickness make you miserable without your participation? For example, if an enemy assailed a kid—cowardly as it is—it was because the kid was a sitting duck. I use this illustration because Christians who are oblivious to who they are are referred to in the Bible as kids. Now, the same enemy may be less inclined to attack an adult who also happens to be a Navy SEAL with the full accompaniment of his faculties.

The Christian ought to be like the Navy SEAL because his life is as indestructible and invincible as his Father in heaven. There should be no such onslaught that can obliterate the Christian. Except, of course, as is the case many times over, ignorance is his only shortcoming.
