If you study the Parable of the Sower in Mark chapter 4, it is as though Jesus is saying that God makes a deliberate effort to mask meaning.
And the only people who get converted or transformed by studying the Bible are those who can grasp God’s meanings.
In a nutshell, making deliberate effort to understand the messages of the Bible is the only way to unlock the treasures hidden with them.
