Yesterday, I blogged about the Parable of the Roommate and got interesting responses, to say the least.
So here’s the interpretation: The interview in the post is the Judgement Day. We, Christians, who live around people who are not saved, are the roommate.
We know that they have an appointment with their Maker, and no matter how good they try to be, (or prepare for the interview) their oblivion to the saving work of Jesus, on the cross, his death and resurrection, will make them flunk the appointment.
For many of them, they may only realize that Jesus was the way in the afterlife, by which time, it would be too late.
You were the roommate that believed in Jesus, went to church, prayed for them but never told them how to be saved.
Based on how terrible falling short of the appointment will go for them, so many will be left wondering, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
