Never doubt it, the enemy’s war against you is trans-generational.
He can wait for thirty, fifty or even a hundred years to attack you or your descendants and his strategy is never novel. It is always the same in nature.
For instance, the wives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all experienced barrenness at some point because barrenness was their own battlefront.
Maybe yours is obesity, or chronic unemployment or a particular inexplicable disease that has run in the family tree with smack precision. However, you can do one of two things to curtail, if not terminate it from your bloodline.
First, and I am writing this post to Christians only, you can become watchful of the sin that gives the affliction legitimacy. That way, the occasion that could validate an attack is not provided. For some, this may be eating too much, fornicating or even refusing the priesthood of a deity to which your earthly ancestors were covenanted before you gave your life to God, as was the case that produced barrenness in Abraham’s generation.
The other thing you can do is to claim sanctuary in your new ancestry. However, if you do this, you can never claim affiliation to the earthly one again but must count it as dung. When people ask to know where you are from, reply with, “I am from God”. Otherwise, you predispose yourself again to the shortcomings of that bloodline.
