One of the things Jesus demonstrated after His resurrection was His newly gained authority.
One time, during His forty-day stay, post-resurrection, Jesus came in among His disciples and said, “All hail…” Within His call to worship, Jesus introduced us to Himself as our Great Commissioner.
Jesus commissioned us to use His name, to preach the gospel and demonstrate His absolute authority in this world. It’s why we are charged to do everything in the name of Jesus.
